INDIANAPOLIS — Mayor Joe Hogsett has named the new leader for the Indianapolis Housing Agency.
John Hall will begin his new position as the Executive Director on March 4.

Hall is currently serving as the department director for the City of Wichita's Housing and Community Services Department in Kansas. “Indianapolis Housing Agency provides affordable housing and support services to thousands of residents, ensuring that we are meeting the critical needs of some of our city’s most vulnerable populations,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett. “After an extensive national search and careful deliberation by community stakeholders and city officials it is clear that John’s nearly two decades of experience leading housing organizations and building community can help to shape the future of IHA.”
Rufus 'Bud' Myers, retired last August after serving nearly 18 years as the executive director of IHA.
Jennifer Green of Insight Development Corporation has been serving as the interim executive director while Mayor Hogsett worked to fill the position.
