INDIANAPOLIS — The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon is now one of the 15 largest in the nation, and certain Central Indianapolis routes will be impacted with road closures and service gaps.

The Red Line will operate in two different segments during the race on Saturday — one route north of 38th Street and another south of 38th Street.
IndyGo says:
"Passengers traveling south from North College Avenue may stay on the bus during the turnaround and will exit the bus at a temporary Red Line stop curbside on 38th Street, just east of College Avenue, then walk one block west to the Park Street Station. Passengers traveling north from downtown will exit the Red Line at the Park Street Station, then walk one block east to the temporary Red Line stop on the northeast corner of 38th and College Avenue."
The following Red Line stations will be closed until race completion.
- Vermont
- Statehouse
- New Jersey
- IU Health (No NB Service)
- 22nd Street

Google Maps, MyStop Mobile, and all other trip planning tools will not consider these detours, according to IndyGo. Additionally, IndyGo does encourage race participants to take advantage of the fact the Red Line is free through Monday, Nov. 11.
