INDIANAPOLIS — The Red Line will be a new experience for everyone in the Circle City, so IndyGo is looking for volunteers who will show riders the way when the buses hit the road.

The Red Line will launch Sept. 1, and volunteers will be assigned to stations throughout the first week to educate and assist riders as they use the new bus rapid transit system for the first time. Click here to register to volunteer. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Thursday.

IndyGo will host training from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Library in the Riley Meeting Room (40 E. St. Clair St.) for people who have signed up.

The Red Line will connect passengers between Broad Ripple and the University of Indianapolis and operate from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. during the week.
