INDIANAPOLIS — All lanes of westbound Interstate 465 have reopened following a crash near State Road 37 on the south side of Indianapolis that prompted all westbound lanes to be closed more than an hour.
The crash happened after 2 p.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes.
Indiana State Police troopers said an SUV slammed into the back of a semi tractor trailer in the westbound lanes. Eastbound traffic was also impacted.
A medical helicopter transported one person to the hosptial.
