JOHNSON COUNTY — A mail carrier is in stable condition following a Friday afternoon accident in Johnson County.
It happened just before 2:30 p.m. at County Road 700 West and Division Road in the Bargersville area.
According to the Bargersville Fire Department, the mail delivery van crashed into a tree. It took about 15-minutes to get the driver out of the wrecked vehicle.
The Bargersville Post Master made sure mail in the van was secured.
The mail carrier went to Community South Hospital. There was no word on what caused the crash.
