GREENWOOD, Ind. – Mrs. Curl ice cream shop has been a staple in Greenwood since it opened its doors in 1962.
Originally named Mr. Curl, it was renamed Mrs. Curl when Carleen Alexander changed the name.
John Cassin bought the shop in 1997 and says he had no previous experience with ice cream.
They serve ice cream with several toppings including nerds and a signature teddy bear.
Ice cream isn’t the only thing they serve. You can also order from the grill like hot dogs and hamburgers.
