JOHNSON CO. — A bicyclist, Lester Dillion Jr., was struck and killed at Stones Crossing Road in Johnson county this evening.
The bicyclist was announced dead at the scene, according to Sheriff Duane Burgess.
The bicycle failed to yield the right of way to a south bound vehicle on State Road 37, and was hit.
Alcohol is not suspected in the driver, Stephen Ford, who struck the bicyclist and has been transported to the hospital for a blood draw, by Sheriff's Deputies.
South bound State Road 37 from Olive Branch Road to Stones Crossing Road is closed for Investigators.
