JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -- Daniel Nations pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony charge of failure to register as a sex or violent offender in Johnson County.

Nations is considered a person of interest in the Delphi murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

The charge he pleaded guilty to in Johnson County is unrelated to the Delphi investigation.

Nations was placed on probation but that condition will be dropped if he moves back to Colorado.

Additional conditions of Nations probation include appearing at the Johnson County Sheriff's Office to be fingerprinted and have his picture taken. He must also submit a DNA sample to the Indiana Department of Corrections.

However, he has been transferred to the Bartholomew County Jail to face criminal charges there. In addition, there are charges pending against Nations in Marion County.
