GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Greeks Pizzeria and Tapp Room is coming to Greenwood. After finding success in downtown Franklin, owner Jason Tapp is taking a gamble in the Center Grove area.
“Right in the middle of where I grew up. That was a really big reason to go back to Greenwood,” said Tapp.
Tapp is opening the second location of his restaurant franchise and unique bar at an existing storefront located at Olive Branch Road and Highway 135, behind the Indiana Members Credit Union. For those who are familiar with the area, his restaurant will occupy the location previously used by Beefcake Burgers.
Tapp hopes to open the doors to his Greenwood location by late January or early February. Construction is already underway, including an overhaul of interior design.
He plans to recreate what’s so popular about his Franklin restaurant - in Greenwood. That means, restaurant-goers can expect “good Greeks pizza and a wide beer selection”.
In Franklin, Tapp offers a beer selection that is 30 deep. In Greenwood, he’s planning to offer at least 20.
“Really good quality pizza. I know there's a lot of pizza places but I think we stand on our own. The quality stands on its own,” said Tapp.
The Greenwood location will boast outdoor seating and a brand new bar.
