JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -- The victim has been identified in a crash involving a car and a semi in Johnson County Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff's deputies were notified of a serious accident around 1 p.m. on State Road 37 at Smith Valley Road in Greenwood.
A white 2016 Cadillac XTS and a semi had been involved in a crash.
Officers say it appears the westbound Cadillac ran a light and hit the northbound semi.
The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Allan C. Johnson, 83, from Martinsville.
The driver of the semi, David Harvey, 40, of Fort Branch, was not hurt.
Deputies say northbound State Road 37 at Smith Valley Road could be closed for up to two hours are they conduct their investigation.
