INDIANAPOLIS — Not guilty is the verdict in the trial of a 21-year-old Indianapolis man who was charged with a shooting that left a woman dead and her husband wounded.

Damarcus Jackson was acquitted of murder, attempted murder and robbery charges in the April 2017 case in which 23-year-old Lonneisha Wellington was shot to death and her husband, Alexis Wellington, was wounded at the Phoenix Apartments on Meadows Drive.
