WESTFIELD — A kitchen fire Saturday afternoon temporarily closed Charleston's in Westfield.
Westfield Fire Department fire fighters and emergency personnel were called around 3 p.m. to Charleston's at Greyhound Plaza after someone called 911 and reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the roof, WFD Public Information Officer Ryan Herron said.
Crews were able to quickly put out the fire, Herron said.
Charleston's will be closed for an unknown amount of time to clean up.
No injuries were reported.
