KOKOMO — The suspect charged in the 2016 murder of a 60-year-old Kokomo man was sentenced to 30-years in prison, Friday.

Trevor Bean was arrested in late-2016 for the death of 60-year-old Paul Andreas during what police described as a home invasion at the victim's South Webster Street home.

Andreas was beaten to death with a baseball bat, according to the Kokomo Police Department.

In October, on the day he was supposed to go on trial, Bean decided to plead guilty to one of the charges he faced, Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
