LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- If you're looking for a unique holiday experience, head to the Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art in Lafayette.
The museum has an outstanding collection of historic Hoosier art, but it's also decked out for the season in all that symbolizes Christmas.
Bob Haan is a retired engineer. He designed the train setup at the mansion.
There are trees in almost every room. There are seven fireplaces with Christmas stockings. And there is a gingerbread house that seems to be occupied all the time.
Ellie and Bob Haan lived in the house for 30 years. Last year they donated it so it could become a museum.
The museum will have a final holiday showing from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. The cost for adults is $15, children 5-17 are half-price.
