79-year-old killed in T-bone crash in Madison County

INDIANAPOLIS -- A 79-year-old man was killed when his car was T-boned by another vehicle in Madison County Wednesday afternoon. 

Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff's Department were called to the intersection of County Road 200 East and County Road 800 N around 2:30 p.m. 

Witnesses told deputies that a 2006 gold Cadillac had stopped at a stop sign and was just taking off when a black Kia struck its driver's-side door.

The driver, Larry Peck, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The 19-year-old driver of the Kia was taken to the hospital to be treated for neck and chest pain. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
