ANDERSON, Ind. – Anderson police and Anderson Community Schools are investigating after threats were made towards two of the district’s schools.
Tim Smith, assistant superintendent of Anderson Community Schools, said the anonymous threats were made towards Highland Middle School and Anderson High School.
Anderson police said they are working with Anderson Community Schools to continue to monitor the situation.
Smith said they are taking extra steps to ensure safety and security at schools this week.
No additional resources will be provided to the schools unless requested, Anderson police said.
