Anderson police investigating shots fired, attempted robbery

ANDERSON, Ind. – Anderson police are investigating after shots were allegedly fired during an attempted home-invasion robbery Wednesday night.

Police were called around 9 p.m. to the 2300 block of Chase Street after three victims were approached by two males with handguns.

The victims told police that shots were fired during the incident, but no one was struck by the gunfire. One victim was allegedly battered and was treated at an Anderson hospital.
