MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -- Two bodies found in Madison and Grant counties earlier this week have been identified.
Trinity Parker, 39, and David Lamar Phillips, 36, were both shot twice in the head, according to the Madison County Coroner.
Parker's body was found Tuesday on farmland off SR 37 in Grant County.
The sheriff says he believes her death is connected to the discovery of Phillips' body in a wooded area in Madison County on Monday.
His body was found shortly before 8 a.m. in a heavily wooded area of the nature preserve off Rangeline Road on the east side of Anderson.
Brittney Vontress, 30, Jordan Zirkle, 30, and Taylor Wheeler, 22, all of Anderson, were arrested Tuesday. They have been preliminarily charged with murder.
The sheriff says the three suspects led detectives to a fourth suspect who has been in jail since last Saturday on another matter. Daniel L. Jones, 38, was arrested Tuesday after Parker's body was discovered.
