MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -- The body of a 20-year-old man who went missing while swimming in a quarry near Anderson Tuesday afternoon has been recovered.
The Madison County Coroner said a group of friends were swimming in the gravel pit Tuesday evening when one of the men went underwater and never resurfaced.
The Anderson County Fire and Rescue squad recovered the body of Juwan Wills from the bottom of the pit, 31 feet below the surface.
No other details about the drowning have been released.
