ELWOOD, Ind. -- The City of Elwood marked a major milestone in its development Tuesday.
City leaders broke ground on what's called the Bison Ridge subdivision.
The houses built on the property are part of a $25 million project.
Bison Ridge will be a mis of single-family houses and multi-family units. In 2009, the city recognized one of its biggest issues was a lack of adequate housing.
City leaders say the Bison Ridge subdivision will be one of the biggest residential developments in Elwood's history.
