An investigation is underway into the death of an inmate from the Pendleton Correctional Facility.
Investigators say correctional facility officials found Ezekial Jones with an apparent stab wound to his neck on July 11.
According to investigators, Jones was immediately transported to the facility's health care center, then to Saint Vincent's hospital in Anderson, before being transferred to Saint Vincent's in Indianapolis, where he later died from his injuries.
Jones was serving time for two counts of robbery and one count of murder out of Fort Wayne.
The apparent stabbing is under investigation.
