Missing Madison County woman found dead, Silver Alert canceled

ANDERSON, Ind. -- A woman at the center of a Madison County Silver Alert was found dead Thursday night. 

The statewide Silver Alert for Lynette Jackson, 56, was canceled early Friday morning. Anderson Police Department spokesperson Joel Sandefur said Jackson was found at about 6:05 p.m., near a construction area not far from her house. 

There were no signs of foul play, Sandefur said.

An autopsy will be conducted Friday.

No further information is available.
