ANDERSON, Ind. -- Two teenagers were tied up at gunpoint while their house was searched in a home invasion late Sunday night.
The home invasion happened just before midnight in the 1700 block of E. 50th Street.
According to the Anderson Police Department, two male teenagers, aged 14 and 17, were in their house when suspects entered their apartment looking for a specific item.
The victims told police that the suspects were armed with handguns.
When the teens mother returned to the house, she saw somebody inside her son's car, then saw people running away and leave in a blue vehicle.
Police have a known person of interest in the case. Police do not believe the incident is a random act.
