BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A hotel guest was assaulted and a clerk was robbed at a hotel in Bloomington Monday.
Bloomington Police Department detectives said the situation occurred around 4:30 p.m. when a male wearing an Indiana sweatshirt and hat caused a scene at Candlewood Suites Bloomington before fleeing the area.
James Dean, general manager for the hotel, released a statement Wednesday afternoon:
Our top priority is always our guests' privacy and security and we are working with Bloomington Police Department on an active investigation. We are unable to comment any further at this time.
Detectives are still looking for a suspect.
