HENRY COUNTY — A man is dead after a boat he was on tipped over Sunday afternoon at Westwood Park in Henry County, according to conservation officers.
Jeff Maxwell, 61, of Anderson, was on the boat with another person around 2:30 p.m. when the boat tipped and they both fell in the water, Indiana Conservation Officer Mark Baker said. The other man was able to safely get back to shore.
Maxwell was recovered Sunday evening, Baker said. The coroner's office has not yet determined his cause of death.
