MARKLEVILLE — Authorities in Madison County are investigating a shooting southwest of Markleville.
Scott Mellinger of the Madison County Sherrif's Office said in an email that a 25-year-old man was shot at a house on County Road 1000 South and was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in Anderson in serious condition.
Mellinger said it appears to have been a domestic situation between the man and his family.
