INDIANAPOLIS -- Angie's List will sell its Washington Street campus and relocate, a company spokesperson said Monday.
“We can confirm that the Angie’s List campus is up for sale and we are exploring relocation options in the Indianapolis area that better suit the businesses needs moving forward," an Angie’s List spokesperson said.
Joe Valenti, a neighbor to the campus, said he doesn't want the company to move.
"They've rehabbed all those buildings," Valenti said. "Some of them were pretty nasty buildings."
In September, Angie's List announced it would lay off about 230 people as the company merged with HomeAdvisor.
The headquarters for the merged company will be based out of HomeAdvisor's Golden, Colorado location.
"I hope something else moves in and we keep the property values up around here and those buildings don't just sit empty," said Kaylee Messler.
The campus is located at 1030 E. Washington St.
