LAWRENCE — Family members of a 14-year-old girl who hasn't returned home since Tuesday are concerned about her welfare and asking for help finding her.
Aniylaih Kimbrough is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 180 pounds, has two nose rings, and a right cheek dimple, according to the Lawrence Police Department.
Her friends say she was last seen around 8 p.m. Friday near the Amber Woods apartments, near East 38th Street and Mitthoeffer Road, and possibly near the 3500 block of North Pennsylvania Street, LPD Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff said in a press release.
She has a history of running away, her family says, but she typically returns home in a few days, Woodruff said. They are also concerned because she doesn't have her cell phone.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or Lawrence police at 317-545-7575.
