LAWRENCE, Ind. -- A new service offered by Lawrence Utilities makes it easier for water customers to keep track of usage and avoid unpleasant surprises when their monthly bill arrives.
The “Eye on Water” app is now available. Customers can download it through their Android or iPhone app store.
Lawrence Utilities Superintendent Scott Salsbery says the app will help customers better manage their water consumption. They can set their consumption usage level, and receive alerts when they go above the allotted amount.
Salsbery says one of the most important advantages of the app is the leak alert.
“Leaks can happen with no warning at all, and customers remain unaware until the bill comes. Now they spot those problems before they get out of hand,” he said.
