MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was killed in a semi crash Friday morning in Miami County, Indiana.
According to INDOT, the crash happened at around 5 a.m., in the intersection of U.S. 31 and Business 31, just west of Peru, Indiana.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Tony Slocum said the semi ran a stop light and T-boned a Dodge pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, Gregory Monin, 49, was killed.
The semi driver was issued a citation for disregarding a traffic signal. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
