UPDATE: Avon police on Friday said that the missing teenager was found in Marion County early Friday and was taken into custody by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
AVON — Police in Avon are asking for the public's help with locating a missing 16-year-old.
Patrick Day is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, according to a Facebook post from the Avon Police Department.
Day may be wearing a white Aeropostale jacket, a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, according to the post.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call emergency dispatchers at 317-839-8700.
