UPDATE: Greenfield police late Wednesday said Dorothy Jean Rogers was found safe and has been reunited with her family.
GREENFIELD — Police in Greenfield are asking for the public's help finding a missing 87-year-old woman who may require medical assistance.
According to a report from Greenfield police, Dorothy Jean Rogers, 87, was last seen at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday at her son's residence in Greenfield.
Police said Rogers moved into her son's residence on Tuesday from the Indianapolis area and is unfamiliar with the Greenfield area. Police also said Rogers has medical conditions that require her to take medications daily.
Rogers is described as a white female, 5-feet, four-inches tall, weighing 157 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. Rogers drives a black 2018 Buick Regal with Indiana license plate D898ZK.
A statewide Silver Alert has been issued.
