MONROE COUNTY, Ind. – At least one person was killed after a fight that led to three people being shot early Saturday morning in Monroe County.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 2200 block of East Pointe Road on the report of a physical fight.
When deputies arrived, they found three people who had been shot. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, one person was transported to the hospital, and one person was treated and released.
Kemontie Johnson, 21, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Monroe County Coroner says an autopsy is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday.
At this time, investigators believe there is only one suspect who shot at the victims. They are still looking for them.
