MONROE COUNTY, Ind. -- A statewide Silver Alert an 88-year-old man who disappeared Tuesday afternoon from Bloomington has been canceled.
The Silver Alert was canceled on behalf of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's department said Peter Mitchell left to go to the grocery store, but didn't return. He was eventually found at the Port Heron, Michigan entry point to the Canadian Border. He is in good health, a sheriff's spokesperson said.
