CRAWFORDSVILLE — One person is dead following a Monday afternoon crash on State Road 32 in Montgomery County.
According to Montgomery County Sheriff Ryan Needham, the accident happened on the state highway, east of Crawfordsville.
Needham says a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan was westbound on 32 when it crossed the center line and struck a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup driven by a 19-year-old Muncie man. He suffered non-life threatening.
The driver of the Grand Caravan, who has not been identified, died at the scene of the accident. Investigators are trying to determine why his vehicle crossed the center line, causing the crash.
