Martinsville police looking for owner of pit bull struck by car

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. -- Martinsville police are looking for the owner of a pit bull that was struck and taken to the vet. 

Police say the pit bull was struck in the area of State Road 37 and State Road 252 and was taken to IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital with minor injuries. 

The left tip of the dog's ear is also missing.

Anyone with information on the owner of the pit bull is asked to call Martinsville police at 765-342-6614.
