HAMILTON COUNTY — Multiple roads in Hamilton County are shut down Wednesday afternoon due to flooding.
A flash flood warning is in effect for Hamilton County until 9 p.m.
Just after 5 p.m., Hamilton County Emergency Management's Twitter feed reported there are several locations in Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville that have stalled cars on the roads due to high water and lists areas to avoid.
Areas to avoid:

-Cumberland/Greenfield, Noblesville
-Field Dr/SR 19, Noblesville
-10th and Gerald, Noblesville
-Hunters Dr/Carmel Dr, Carmel
-Allisonville Rd/126th St, Fishers
-146th st/Cherry Tree, Carmel
-116th/Eden Glenn Dr, Carmel#INwx

The Carmel Fire Department also warned people to not drive through high water areas and showed photos and videos of possible water rescues.
