BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — One school district announced changes that should keep students safer at bus stops and on the school bus.
The Bartholomew County Consolidated School Corporation said their buses will soon have new cameras to give bus drivers a virtual 360-degree view of the outside of the bus.
Bus drivers will be able to more clearly see the students at bus stops and walking around the bus, so the chances of getting hit by the school bus are reduced.
Despite this, Bartholomew County does not have cameras to capture drivers that pass school buses with their arms extended.
