INDIANAPOLIS — The heart of the city is about to get some upgrades.
Downtown Indy Inc. is making changes to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
Pretty soon, it will have better lighting, the ability to project video and performance staging with a cutting edge sound system.
Hoosiers and travelers alike can expect light shows, seasonal experiences, and a nightly salute synchronized with an original score from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
This all starts on November 9.
