SPEEDWAY — No injuries were reported after a fire damaged a Speedway home Sunday afternoon.
The Wayne Township and Speedway Fire Departments responded to a report of a house fire just before 1 p.m. in the 700 block of Green Woods Drive, according to information from the Wayne Township Fire Department.
Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the garage and extending into the home. Two people were in the house at the time, and a neighbor saw the fire and told them to get out.
Damage from the fire is estimated to be $100,000, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, the Wayne Township Fire Department said.
