NOBLESVILLE—A Thursday evening public concert at Dillon Park in Noblesville has been postponed.
It will be too hot and humid for the concert by The Doo! Band, according to a city spokesman. "With the concert series held outdoors in the open area of Dillon Park, city staff feels it would be in the public's best interest to reschedule tonight's show for another time when the weather doesn't cause health and safety concerns," said Noblesville Communications Manager Robert Herrington.
The Doo! Band concert is now scheduled for 7p.m. on Thursday, August 8 at Forest Park.
Herrington says the city is also looking at whether other weekend events should be postponed due to the heat and humidity.
