An off-duty officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
According to a police report, Greenwell, 36, was arrested in the 7600 block of Sergeant Road early Sunday morning.
He was driving a personal vehicle, not an IMPD vehicle. Police say Greenwell had a blood alcohol content of .106.
Greenwell has been suspended without pay pending an internal investigation.
