HAMILTON COUNTY — One person was killed in a single-car crash Friday night in Hamilton County.
The crash was reported around 9:15 p.m. in the 21700 block of Cammack Road, northwest of Noblesville, Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McClain said in an email.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found the driver trapped in the car with critical injuries, McClain said. They later died. No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
Investigators believe the driver was going south on Cammack Road when they went off the road, into a ditch, and struck a tree, McClain said. A witness told investigators the car was traveling at a high speed before the crash.
The driver's identity has not been released.
