INDIANAPOLIS -- The Marion County Coroner's Office has ruled the death of Park Tudor's headmaster a suicide.
Matthew D. Miller died Saturday.
There were no classes at Park Tudor on Monday, but the campus was open for anyone who needed to talk with a counselor.
Board of Directors President Rob Brown posted the news to the school's website and Facebook page around 7:30 p.m. Saturday:
We are extremely sad to report that our Head of School, Dr. Matthew D. Miller, passed away today, Saturday, January 23.
The entire Park Tudor community is deeply saddened by this sudden loss. We ask that you keep Dr. Miller's family, our students and our community in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Miller, 46, was appointed head of school at Park Tudor in July 2011. He'd previously worked for more than a decade at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey.
Miller held degrees in Greek, Latin and Hebrew from Dickinson College, bachelor's and master's degrees in Greek and Latin literature, history and philosophy from Oxford University, and a master's degree in ancient history and Mediterranean archeology from the University of California at Berkeley. He also held a doctorate in education leadership and management from the University of Pennsylvania.
Miller is survived by his wife Mia and their two children, Sophia and Grayson.
