INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on I-465 on Indianapolis' east side Tuesday afternoon.
Indiana State Police were called to the scene in the northbound lanes of I-465 near I-70 around noon.
ISP Sgt. John Perrine says a pedestrian was struck in that area. That pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No identity has been released at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
