PENDLETON — After severe weather Monday night in Pendleton, authorities are going door to door to check on residents.
Those in Pendleton are being evacuated can go to the Pendleton High School cafeteria for shelter, Madison County Emergency Management Agency Director Todd Harmeson said.
Residents are asked to stay indoors as a majority of the roads are closed in Pendleton due to downed trees and power lines.
Residence in the town of Pendleton should shelter in place. If you need a shelter, there is a shelter set up at the Pendleton Heights High School.
