DANVILLE, Ind. -- A 71-year-old man is dead after an incident involving a tractor near Danville, Indiana.
It happened shortly before 9:30 Monday morning in the 700 block of south SR 39.
According to the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department, the tractor was running, and for an unknown reason had driven through an outside wall of a parking structure. Clarence Imhausen was found trapped underneath the tractor by his wife. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"It obviously affects everybody involved with the community," Lt. Troy Clements said. "The community is very tight-knit. It's a great place to live and a lot of people know everyone. When someone has a tragedy, you know everybody bonds around those people."
