INDIANAPOLIS — Dozens of fathers and sons headed to downtown Indianapolis Saturday for a photoshoot dedicated to showing Black men and young men in a positive light.
"We are fathers, we are brothers, we are men, we are husbands, we are working men," Shawn Kimbro, who organized the event, said.
He says he was tired of seeing negative images of Black men when he logged onto social media so he decided to spark change.
"Felt good to see my brothers come out together to support in unity with our guards down," Kimbro said. "It just feels so good to be amongst men."
