PLAINFIELD — Plainfield police helped a young boy have a birthday party social-distancing-style.
Cheresa Sloan lives in the Walnut Hills subdivision. She sent a message to neighbors online asking for help celebrating her son's special day and then made a personal call to police.
Neighbors also wished the boy a happy birthday Tuesday as he walked around the neighborhood with his mom.
