INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after locating an adult male dead inside of a parked car on the south side of Indianapolis on Tuesday, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson.
IMPD officers were dispatched to the area of 1300 West Ray Street on a person down after 7:15 p.m. when they located an adult male body inside of a vehicle in an alley. Officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the Marion County Coroner located trauma on the male's body. The incident has been declared as a homicide investigation.
IMPD homicide detectives and the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency did respond to the scene on Tuesday evening.
